MB Holding has achieved a first in Turkey that does not exist in public schools. Known for the importance they give to education, MB Holding presented an enriched (Z) library to Fitnat Nihat Azizler Primary School in the Efeler District of Aydın.
The Z library, which is not available in any other public school in Aydın or throughout Turkey, was built by MB Holding and opened to the service of students at Fitnat Nihat Azizler Primary School in Efeler District of Aydın. Efeler District Governor İzzettin Sevgili, Deputy Provincial Director of National Education Tansel Sarayköylüoğlu, Efeler District Director of National Education Mustafa Özmen, MB Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors and Civil Engineer Muharrem Balat, Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman of the Board of Directors Adnan Bosnalı, Private Kavaklı Anatolian High School Founding Principal Süleyman Çokay, Commodity Exchange Assembly President Bahri Erdem, Fitnat Nihat Azizler Primary School Principal Tahir Sarıtepe, teachers, students and parents attended the opening ceremony held at the primary school.
Library Habit Should Be Given to Children from an Early Age
Efeler District Governor İzzettin Sevgili, who stated that MB Holding Board Chairman Muharrem Balat has provided them with great support in education and other areas since the day he came to the district, said; “We should not talk about such aid. However, we sometimes hold such openings in order to set an example for others. The library will contribute greatly to our students and teachers. If we can ensure that the parents of the students come to this library, we will have contributed to reading and the enlightenment of our country. I wish our library to bring good luck and I thank Mr. Muharrem Balat.”
MB Holding Board Chairman Muharrem Balat, who has signed many social responsibility projects in the field of education to date, said; “The purpose of signing such a service is that we wish the youth to be researcher youth, not rote-learners. We should contribute to the growth of new saplings all around the country by raising researcher students. Let’s not forget that a world without books leads people to ignorance.
Ignorance is the greatest enemy of individuals and societies. A person who reads becomes more knowledgeable and of course more successful. Thanks to books, both your thoughts develop and your ability to express yourself becomes more beautiful. Therefore, the love of reading books and the habit of libraries should be given to children from an early age. It is necessary to protect books and libraries for a bright future. Hopefully, the service we provide will be an example to other schools. And our brothers and sisters who graduate from here will make such contributions to their old schools.”
Stating that the Enriched Library was the first to come to life in Aydın, and that the library, which is enriched with internet service and digital book content and provides support to students whenever they want, will also serve adults, School Principal Tahir Sarıtepe said, “In our library, students are provided with the opportunity to prepare homework, print out and work with digital learning content. I would like to thank MB Holding Board Chairman Muharrem Balat, who brought such a library to our school, on behalf of the teachers, students and our neighborhood.”
The Opening Ceremony ended with a plaque of appreciation and a photo shoot.
